International Youth Day: Empowering Young MPN Patients

Published on July 30, 2025

Today, August 12th, we celebrate International Youth Day, a moment to highlight the strength, resilience and hope of young people living with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs).

Being diagnosed with an MPN at a young age brings unique challenges: decisions about treatments, fertility, studies or work, travel, relationships and mental health. But it has also led to the creation of safe spaces where young patients can connect and support each other, such as Odd Blood Club, a community founded by Mari, a young MPN patient.

Share Your Story and Join the MPN Hope Series

We invite all young MPN patients to be part of the MPN Hope Series.

Post a picture of yourself with the hashtag #buildhopeMPN (Instagram) and share a short message of hope for the community.

Together we can show where young MPN patients are around the world and make sure they are seen and heard.
